Announcement!

Okay everyone, hold onto your hats for a big announcement:

Our little man is going to be a big brother!!!
You may have questions. Here are a few details:

Things we know: We are growing our family through adoption again, specifically international adoption! We have been “pre-approved” (by the birth country) to adopt a 2 year old girl from Asia! She is playful and beautiful, and like our son Micah did/does, our girl has some developmental delays and physical special needs.

Things we don’t know: The full extent or long term prognosis of her physical needs, in part because we do not have a clear medical diagnosis. We don’t know exactly how long the process will take, or where all the funds to complete the adoption will come from.

More things we know: Our Lord is sovereign and He intervenes in our lives to bring about His perfect will, in His perfect timing, for His glory. We choose to approach this process with a faithful attitude and to step forward in obedience to what God has called us, no matter what may happen (or not happen) along the way.

More things we don’t: All the many ways that God will leave us awestruck by His orchestration of events and His provision throughout this adoption process.

This we KNOW: God is worthy of all our praise! We are already praising Him for how He has led us to adopt again, and He will continue to be praised for how He moves in the future!

“I’ve seen you move, come move the mountains, and I believe I’ll see you do it again. You made a way, where there was no way, and I believe, I’ll see you do it again. ”
-Elevation Worship

As we mentioned, God has already begun moving, and we invite into our story to hear more about how He has led us to adopt again. You can read all about our story here. Fair warning: it's not short, but worth a read! 😉

We also just launched a new YouTube channel to help document our journey. You should check it out here!
