Easter Activities with Micah & Adoption Process Update
EASTER FUN!
We did some pre-Easter celebrating this week with some fun activities for Micah! We made our traditional resurrection rolls to help Micah remember the reason we celebrate Easter. We also like to try a new way to dye Easter eggs each year, so this time we tried using whipped cream! Check out the results for yourself in our latest YouTube video:

ADOPTION PROCESS UPDATE:
We are officially in home study prep mode because our first visit is the Saturday afternoon! We actually already have all 3 of our home visits scheduled with the last being on April 15th! We have been gathering more paperwork, completing our education requirements and doing some house cleaning to prepare. But let me say that the home study process seems much less stressful the second time around because we know what to expect. I seriously doubt this will be our experience throughout the rest of the process, but we are thankful that in this moment the water seems relatively smooth.
Any waves on the immediate horizon are probably related to fundraising. We do still have the goal of raising $4000 before the end of April and have made progress, but are not quite half way there yet. THANK YOU SO MUCH, to those who have already made donations toward our adoption! We are humbled by your support!
We also hope to start a t-shirt fundraiser and have a yard sale within that time, and of course have our ongoing crowdfund over at YouCaring. We will continue to enter all outside grants and donations we receive to our YouCaring total, so that it always reflects the current status of our fundraising efforts toward our total goal!
